What is FM WhatsApp?
FM WhatsApp is a community-built modification of the official WhatsApp messenger, originally created by Fouad Mokdad. It keeps the familiar chat experience you already know but adds a long list of customization, privacy and productivity features that the stock app does not include — themes, message scheduling, granular last-seen control, larger media limits and richer status options. You can use it as your only messenger or run it alongside the official app on the same phone.

Switching from Official WhatsApp
Before installing, open the official app and create a local backup from Settings → Chats → Chat backup. That snapshot lives in your phone storage and FM WhatsApp can restore it during the first-launch wizard, so you keep your full chat history, media and group memberships. You don’t have to uninstall the official app — both can coexist if you sign in with different numbers.
How to Update FM WhatsApp
